Maintaining creativity during Covid-19 pandemic – restart on shopping.

During a quarantine, creating a communication strategy and creative can be a real challenge, but not for us. As soon as we received the briefs for post-Covid-19 openings of Galleria Burgas & Galleria Stara Zagora shopping malls, despite of the seriousness of the topic, we started creating engaging creative ideas.

We set the following tasks:

  • Preparation of creative and design for mall branding, informative signs, distance stickers and posters with safety measures.
  • Sizing – oh yes, we had over 50 positions.
  • Building an online communication strategy for the opening of the malls.
  • Radio spot.
  • Shooting videos which show the regular cleaning and disinfection against Covid-19 in the shopping malls.

Combining the seriousness of the topic and the creative ideas –  now possible.

In the main visual we used the following slogan “Restart of the shopping” and beneath it we underlined “Taking care of your safety”, along with a hashtag #togetheragain. Those three points are united by the idea of returning to the malls, but with full concern for the customer safety. The main visual includes vector graphics of people and a geometrical object that brings them together.

In order the news about the opening of Galleria Stara Zagora & Galleria Burgas  to reach the users, we worked on full blown offline and online communication campaign via Facebook & Instagram, as well as e-mail marketing.

We also included information about the measures taken against Covid-19 by the shopping centers, as well as the recommended measures for all visitors:

We also prepared a copy for a radio spot.

Our last task was to shoot informative videos in Galleria Burgas & Galleria Stara Zagora.

The main purpose of the videos is to show the process of cleaning and disinfection in the shopping malls, as well as the regular monitoring for compliance with the measures:

                                                                                              

In conclusion, we branded the malls with a colorful and fresh campaigns visuals that carry a message which includes responsibility and concern, but with a touch of creativity. Our work eased the clients’ visit to the shopping malls. It also brought additional value to employees’  work.

Our creativity always works at full speed, even during a pandemic. We look forward to the next challenge!
